The Ashcrafts have been loyal customers to Sweetwater for years. They were amazed to see the gigantic warehouses where their gear shipped from. CEO of Ashcraft Studios, Jules Ashcraft states, "The warehouse is massive... They are the # 1 music distribution company and they really know their stuff."
In addition to all of the vendors and free swag, Gearfest also offered a variety of free shows and workshops in appreciation of its customers. Jules and Stanford saw Ricky Scaggs and Kentucky Thunder play together. A live stream of the event and others throughout the weekend are available on the retailer's website.
Other highlights of the even include the Ashcraft's purchase of a new Supro 25W amp and a visit with Johnny Cash's tour bus.
Outside of the even Jules and Stanford really enjoyed their hotel, Don Hall's Guesthouse. They booked an Elvis themed room and they were not disappointed. Great customer service and quality rooms at reasonable prices made their stay particularly enjoyable. Don Hall's Guesthouse offers "spacious business, family and pet friendly hotel rooms" and a variety of vacation packages providing visitors with both lodging and entertainment. Its definitely work checking out if you're in the area.
